You have reached the default web site on a windows server using the server name directly, or by not configuring the web site to use a host header.

Using the server name to connect is a bad idea in general so we suggest using an alias which makes it

• easier to remember
• easier to move to another server in the future
• possible to use different application pool accounts on a single server
• works with System Center Opearations Manager and PS Remoting

What we would like you to do is order an alias for the the application(s) you are going to run on this server.
We will then create

• An A record in DNS
• SPN for that alias and the service account running the application pool for your application
